Cake flour (at least 28 ounces)
Baking powder (check expiration date)
Baking soda (check expiration date)
Fine salt
Unsalted butter (2 pounds)
High fat, “European” style unsalted butter. (1 pound) Look for at least 12 grams of fat per serving. Common brands include: Kerrygold, Tillamook, Vital Farms, Plugra, Strauss
Granulated sugar (2 pounds)
Light brown sugar (3/4 cup)
Vegetable oil (1/2 cup)
Cinnamon
Molasses (1/2 cup)
Whole, large eggs (5)
Egg whites (5) (either from fresh eggs, or carton 100% egg whites
Vanilla extract, (1 ounce)
Almond extract
1 lemon
1 brick of cream cheese
Yogurt (8 ounces)
Powdered sugar (4 pounds)
Light corn syrup
Fresh blueberries (2 pints)
Milk (8 ounces)
Rainbow sprinkles (1 1/2 cups)
Heavy cream
8 ounces jam, nutella, or pie filling for hand pies
Apple cider vinegar
Coarse sugar for sprinkling
Gel food coloring (Americolor and Chefmaster are good brands)
Cooking spray

2, 8-inch by 2-inch cake pans (I recommend Fat Daddio’s)
2 large cookie or baking sheets
Parchment Paper
Plastic Wrap
Cooking spray
Electric hand mixer or stand mixer (Can’t go wrong with a standmixer, but if you don’t have any kind of mixer right now and don’t want to invest in a standmixer, this hand mixer from KitchenAid has one of the more powerful motors and is the one I own.)
Wire whisk
Rubber spatula (my favorite spatulas)
12 cup muffin tin
3 to 4 inch cookie cutter or biscuit cutter (I love this Fat Daddio’s set)
Cookie cutter (for sugar cookies)
Fine mesh sieve (I recommend this set)
(Optional) Piping Bag and #2 and #5 or #6 round tips. (Any piping bag or even ziploc bag is good. For tips, this Ateco Set is a good writing set.)
