Preparations
Butter should be at room temperature or softened. No other advanced preparation is necessary. No need to premeasure or take any other steps.
Day One: Make dough for donuts.
Day Two: Fry & glaze donuts.
For future reference, these donuts can be made in one day. They need to be chilled until cold enough to handle the dough, which takes about 4 hours of chilling.
