The Shopping List

Ingredients

All-purpose flour, 3 cups

Granulated sugar, less than 1/2 cup

Salt

Unsalted butter, 12 oz (high fat “European Style” preferred)

Cold Water

Almond Flour, 3/4 cup (you can substitute another nut flour that pairs well with your fruit if you don’t like frangipane)

Almond extract (or vanilla)

3 large eggs

2 pounds ripe, but firm stone fruit, such as cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, or apricots. Feel free to add in berries as an accent fruit

Milk or water, 1 tbsp

Equipment

Rolling pin (don’t have one and don’t feel like purchasing? Use a long, round bottle, like a wine bottle)

2 large/medium bowls

Wire whisk

Rubber spatula

Parchment paper (don’t skip this)

Large baking sheet or cookie tray
