Rolling pin (a dowel style pin with rolling guides is great for rolled cookies, but not necessary)
Large mixing bowl
Electric mixer, hand or stand
Microplane or zester
Whisk
Parchment paper (please don’t skip this, wax paper is not the same thing)
2 or 3 cookie sheets or baking pans
Cookie cutters, One about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and a second one about 1 inch. I love these nylon sets from Fat Daddio, because they can be used for lots of things and come in many shapes. There are also cutters like these, that are specifically made for this kind of cookie.
