Ingredients

All-purpose flour, 2 1/2 cups

Granulated sugar, 1/2 cup

Salt

Unsalted butter, 12 oz

Sweetened condensed milk, 1 can

Brown sugar, 1 cup

Heavy cream, 4 fl. oz.

Corn syrup, 4 fl. oz.

Chocolate, 8 oz. (Not chocolate chips, by a chocolate that you like to eat, as it will just be melted and retempered. Dark, semi-sweet, or milk are all fine. Milk chocolate is more difficult to work with.

Large, heavy bottom sauce pan (at least 3 qt capacity)

Instant read digital thermometer or candy thermometer (don’t skip this)
