Preparations

Please prepare your butter in advance by grating 1 cup of cold butter on the large side of a box grater and holding the grated butter in the freeze. In the alternative, you can small dice your butter (no bigger than 1/4 inch cubes) and hold in the refrigerator.

Please start slicing your apples before class begins. They need to be quite thin. 1/8 inch thick or less. I will be slicing most of my apples in class, but it can be a time consuming process, so get a head start!
