Preparations
Please pre-roast your hazelnuts in a 325F oven for 10-15 minutes. While still hot, rub skins off with a kitchen towel. If you don’t want to roast and grind nuts, or just don’t like hazelnuts, you can use almond flour. Toast the almond flour in the same matter as nuts. Spread over a baking sheet and roast for 5-10 minutes. It will take less time than whole nuts.
Butter should be room temperature.
