Ingredients
All-purpose flour, 4 cups plus flour for dusting
Granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons
Salt
Unsalted butter, 12 oz (high fat “European” style preferred, such as Kerrygold, Pulgra, Tillamook, or Strauss…look for 12 grams of fat per serving)
Apple cider vinegar, or white wine vinegar, or champagne vinegar
Cream cheese, 8 oz
Powdered sugar, 3/4 cup
Vanilla extract
Jam of your choice or premade pie filling or nutella, 1 cup
2 large eggs
2 tsp milk or water
coarse sugar for sprinkling (optional)

2 mixing bowls (at least 1 large)
1 or 2 large baking sheets or cookie sheets
Parchment paper or silicon baking mats
Large, 4-inch biscuit cutter, or rotary pastry wheel (I like these nested all-purpose cutters from Fat Daddios, but you can even make these using just a knife).
Box grater
Rolling pin
Rubber Spatula
Whisk
Electric mixer, handheld or stand (optional, filling can be made by hand)
Piping bag with 1/4 inch plain, round tip or plastic baggie
Pastry brush (optional)
