Shopping List
The shopping list is divided into two parts. Stuff you’ll need for Monday/Tuesday, and stuff for the last two days. I hope this makes is more manageable for you to shop.

Ingredients for Monday & Tuesday
Yellow cornmeal, 200 grams
All-purpose flour, 5 lb
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
Granulated sugar, 3 tbsp
Powdered sugar, 1 tbsp
Honey, 1/2 cup
8 large eggs
15 oz unsalted butter
Vegetable oil, 1 tbsp
Buttermilk, 12 oz
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 cup BBQ sauce
3 cups roasted chicken (buy an already cooked chicken to save the trouble of roasting at home)
2-3 potatoes
bunch cilantro
4 green onions/scallions
1/2 cup milk
4 ounces Gruyère cheese
Equipment for Tuesday & Wednesday
Box grater
Large mixing bowl
Electric mixer, stand or hand held
Medium saucepan (at least 3 quarts)
Whisk
Rubber spatula
2 large baking pans or cookie sheets (ideally at least one of these should be a half-sheet pan that is about 18x13
Parchments paper
Aluminum foil
Rotary cutter like a pizza wheel or pastry cutter or something to cut 5 inch circles with (for handpies)
Rolling pin
8x8 glass baking dish or 9-inch cast iron skillet (for cornbread)
Baking spray
Pot holders
Piping bag with 1/2 inch plain round tip (optional for cheese puffs)
Ingredients for Thursday - Friday
1 cup granulated sugar
3 envelopes yeast
Bread flour, 500 grams
Salt
seeds or other toppings (optional)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
8 oz block cheddar cheese, preferably sharp, grated finely
1 cup (8 fl. oz.) heavy cream
12 oz milk
10 oz (2-4) medium potatoes, yellow preferred
4 tbsp butter
1 onion
1/2 small head of cabbage
1 medium carrot
5 to 7 mushrooms (white or cremini)
2 tsp white wine vinegar or vinegar
1/2 tsp ground coriander
3 garlic cloves finely minced
2 cups oil for frying
Equipment for Thursday-Friday

Cutting board
Knife for chopping
Bench scraper (super helpful)
Electric mixer, stand or hand held
Medium saucepan (at least 3 quarts)
Large frying pan
Stock pot (for parboiling bagels)
Slotted spoon with a long handle or tongs for getting bagels out of water and getting piroshki out of oil
